Avm ropes in ajith! 08/08/2005

It is a great honor to be associated with the legendary film house. Yes, we are talking of AVM. The production company’s history is closely linked to the development of the industry. Every actor worth his salt would like to do at least one film for them. All great stars have had their hour of glory working under their banner. Now, Ajith has been romped in for their 167th film. Perarasu who directed Tiruppachi will write the story, screenplay, lyrics and dialogues besides directing the film.
Bharadwaj is the music director. S. Saravanan will wield the camera and Antony will run the cuts. Thotta Tharani will be the art director and Super Subbaroyan is the stunt choreographer. M. Saravanan and M.S. Guhan are the producers.
Shooting for the film will commence in December and the film is slated for an April release next year.

Despite the brazen allegation by Kaja Moideen that it was Ajith who drove him to attempt suicide, no response is forthcoming from the Ajith camp. Ajith is known as a Good Samaritan both within and outside the industry. He is a thorough professional and a champion of several philanthropic and social initiatives.
Therefore, the silence is all the more deafening. But, we could soon hear gunshots and cannonballs from his side.
 

Godfather on december 2 ? Not for Deepavali? 15/08/2005

The countdown has started for Asin as her four films are getting ready for release between Sep 2 and December 2! And in all of them, she is paired with the cream of Tamil cinema heroes.
Asin's impressive list include - Ghajini with Surya directed by A.R.Murugadass releasing on September 2. On November 1, Diwali Day her Sivakasi with Vijay directed by Perarasu and Maja with Vikram directed by Shafi releases.
On December 2, her K.S Ravikumar directed Godfather with Ajit is slated for release. No other actress in Tamil can boast of such a line up of biggies. And all that she needs is just one hit to reach the top position in Kollywood.
Asin is now planning to sign new projects after seeing the fate of these films so that she can raise her salary!
