Shalini made her debut as a child artiste in films. She
enjoyed immense popularity especially after the film,
Raja Chinna Roja. She came back as Miss. Shalini in
Kadhalukku Mariyadhai which was a runaway hit. She acted
in Kannukkul Nilavu, and several Malayalam movies before
settling down to happy matrimony with Ajith. Ajith
himself is a busy star with
Naan Kadavul and Tirupathi on the floors. Now, his
sister-in-law and Shalini's sister, Shamli who won our
hearts and made us cry as Anjali will be making her
screen debut in a Tamil film shortly.
Ajit reinvents himself! 15/08/2005

Hats off to Ajit, as he has decided to work with top
banners and reputed directors in future. The most
handsome actor of Kollywood has knocked off 18 kilos in
55 days by being on a liquid diet and a few leafy
vegetables for survival.
At the pooja of AVM`s 167th film, Ajit was the
connoisseur of all eyes as he looked trim, dashing and
debonair. Everyone was curious to know how he shed that
extra weight as he had looked over weight in his last
two films.
This AVM film is titled Tirupati will be directed by
Perarasu with camera by S.Saravanan, editing by Antony,
music by Bharadwaj and art is by Thota Tharini. Ajit is
determined to make a strong comeback and says that his
films will speak for itself. His next release
will be Godfather opening by December.
Vijay helps Ajith 16/08/2005

A give and take between 2 people who were like America
and Al Qaeda?
The film world is still staring open mouthed in
surprise.
With every film, Vijay has been giving a punch to Ajith.
In return, Ajith has been behaving like he's the hot
volcano while Vijay is but a melting snow top. It has
been like watching 2 kids pitted against each other. Now
Ajith's film 'Tirupati' has come out of its hassles and
is all bald and set to shine like the bright open sky.
Instead of testing the patience of Ajith's supporters,
as well as Vijay's, we will come to the point.
Vijay's father S A Chandrasekharan has already
registered the title of 'Tirupati' with the film chamber
for the film which is to star Vijay. That's also the
title of Ajith's film. AVM Saravanan has spoken to S A
Chandrasekharan that 'Tirupathi' is the apt title for
the film featuring Ajith. Without much ado, the latter
has given away the title to AVM.
Where does Vijay figure in this? Chandrasekharan would
have first consulted with Vijay before giving up the
title of 'Tirupati,' is it not?
So, in a way, it makes sense to say Vijay helped Ajith,
is it not?!
