Ajith Undergoes Emergency Operation!

Ajith seems to be prone to accidents more than any other star in Tamil films.
While shooting for Maha, which is produced by Nic Arts Chakravarthy, the
actor had snapped a cartilage and hurt his knee badly. This happened while
picturising an action scene in the Campa-Cola grounds near guindy in Chennai. He
was immediately rushed to Apollo hospital, where an emergency operation was done
on his knee.
Ajith was shooting a flying kick scene; a la Matrix style with a group
of fighters under the supervision of stunt master Kanal Kannan. The latest
reports say that he will be out of action for nearly a month, as doctors have
advised total rest. But the big question now is whether he will be able to
participate in the formula BMW race, for which he was looking forward to all
these days.
On the professional front the second schedule of Shaji Kailas directed Jana,
which was to start next week has to be postponed. So the film may not be able to
make it to the theatres on his birthday (May 1). Two years back when he had a
back problem and was hospitalised Citizen could not be released on his
birthday.
But Ajith is believed to be taking it in his stride by watching the World Cup!
The
Holy Dip!

Ajith is zooming ahead on the racetrack as he has got
the green signal to represent India at the Formula BMW
race. His director Shaji Kailas would attribute this
dream of the actor, coming true due to the holy dip in
Bharathapuzha River, near Shornur in Kerala, where he is
shooting for his latest film Jana.
Shaji is a director who made a name with action films
reeking with Hindutva messages. He is responsible for
giving Mohanlal the larger than life image in films like
Narasimham and Aaram Thampuran, which were shot in the
Shornur-Ottapalam locations on the banks of
Bharathapuzha.
Jana, the action thriller has Ajith playing the role
of Janardhanan, a Mumbai based underworld don with
deadly connections who comes back to his village for a
sabbatical. Shaji believes that all his heroes who took
a dip in Bharathapuzha wearing Rudraksham chain had good
luck in life and good time at the box-office. All The
Best Ajith!
