If it is not the PMK then it is the turn of the Villain
team to play villain to Rajini.
K S Ravikumar the director who gave hits like Muthu and
Padayappa with the Superstar is an angry man. He was
unceremoniously dropped from Jaggubhai. He came to know
about Chandramukhi only through the media. Immediately
Ravikumar pulled out a script in which the hero has
three dimensions. Something on the lines of Mondru
Mugham of Rajni. Ajit has allotted dates in November. A
start to finish schedules and will release it on the day
Chandramukhi releases.
A typical filmy style vendetta- Thala v/s Thalivar. Ajit
who is banking on Attagasham is grateful to Ravikumar
for pulling him out of the mess with the film Villain.

Undergoing a lull in his career, Ajith is looking forward to his
forthcoming Attagasam. Playing a dual character in the film he is
banking on his favourite director Saran to give him the much needed
break.
Ajith was immensely satisfied when he recently saw the rushes of the
comedy track featuring Karunas and Vaiyapuri. With only the songs to
be shot, he and Pooja will soon fly to Romania for its
shooting.
Attagasam will be the Diwali fireworks for Ajith's fans.

Lens Eye decided to visit Tuticorin for the coverage of
Attagasam film shooting. Though it is a small town,
Tuticorin is blessed with a harbour from where many
goods are exported and imported. Except in the harbour
areas the town is otherwise very peaceful and tranquil.
Lens Eye got down from the bus at the town bus stand. A
group of people who were waiting for buses began to run
helter skelter. Lens Eye too started running without
knowing the reason. Right on the trail was a few rowdies
with headbands running. Seeing this rowdies coming
closer with big knives, Lens Eye thought it was destiny
that one had to die in the Tuticorin bus stand. Suddenly
a voice boomed out `cut cut'. The rowdies froze and
stopped running. The crowd which was running too stopped.
A voice shouted `Lens Eye I bet you are shivering in
your pants. Look up". On top the bus stand was Stunt
master Super Subrayan. Only then did it strike that it
was Attagasam’s film shooting in progress. Ajith -
director Charan greeted Lens Eye. The action shifted to
the harbour. `Start' said Super and Ajith in one take
jumped from a compound wall near the port with a big
knife, ran on the sands of the sea-shore chased and
pulled the two thugs on the ground and killed them one
by one. Next shift was to a temple, situated on the
Tuticorin -Trichendur highways. It was a holiday and
there were a lot of crowds to watch Ajith’s action. This
time he had a full aruval and chased another two thugs
and killed them. When the scene was being shot a section
of the crowd started fleeing away. The local people said
only two months ago at the same place two persons were
hacked to death in a broad daylight. A section of the
public mistook it for a real murder. Lens Eye felt that
the police should mark such places to warn the public
like the Chennai police has put marks on roads to warn
motorists of places where fatal accidents took place.
The producers arranged pucca police bandobust.
Stunt Master Super Subrayan told Lens Eye, that he had
visited Tuticorin on several occasions and this time he
said he could not believe his own eyes when a vast crowd
turned up. The crowd had come to see Ajith. Director
Charan said directing an action film and that too with
an actor like Ajith was a pleasure. Ajith who plays a
dual role in the film was busy doing rehersals with the
fighters. The film would be released for Deepavali.
Karthik who produces the film for Vijayam Cine Combines
said their film unit would shift to Kanya Kumari .
Probably it was for a fight in the sea near the temple.
