Paramasivan fast with action - 13 Dec 2005
By MIO Team
P Vasu has carved a niche for himself in the industry
with the success of
'Chandramuki and the super hit Kannada film 'Apthamitra'.
He is at the
pinnacle of his career and with lady luck smiling on him,
there seems to be
nothing stopping him. The super success of both the
films have brought him
glory beyond measure. Even the great collection must
have left him a happy
man.
He is here with his next presentation 'Paramasivan'. The
film is through its
postproduction work at the AVM. P Vasu ranks this film
amongst his best.
There is loads of action happening in the story as the
film moves in a brisk
pace. It is something about war, but details have not
been provided which
war it is specifically. Ajith plays the lead of the film
and P Vasu is
certain that Ajith will only take a peak of his career
with the film.
The film raises its voice against terror, violence,
terrorism and bomb
culture that is splitting the world. The films tend to
inspire the young
generation to stand and fight against the grievances.
Excitement unlimited - ‘Paramasivan’s’ story - 12 Dec

At a time when serial bomb blasts are splitting the
countries,
listening to ‘Paramasivan’ story will be very disturbing.
Before the story, a word about the story writer P Vasu.
He seems to be at
the top of the world. His throne is elevated after the
unprecedented success of
‘Chandramuki.’ His Kannada film ‘Apthamitra’ again is a
great success. It is
running for one year in 5 theatres. It is considered a
landmark in Kannada
films. On an investment of Rs.3 crores it earned Rs.35
crores. No Kannada film
can ever aspire to do that kind of collection.
Boosted by these, P Vasu is involved in completing the
last minute work on
‘Paramasivan’ in AVM. He rates ‘Paramasivan’ to be the
fastest among all his
films. Action dominates ‘Paramavasivan’ through all the
16 reels. And all
actions are aligned with the storyline. Is it like the
American war on
Afghanistan? More or less it is so.
There is an increasing trend of violence, terrorism and
bomb culture. Such
instances should be totally stopped. Even if they happen,
how to confront them,
how to manage them? What is the younger generation’s
responsibility in not
allowing such things to happen? The terror is palpable
as if one is standing on
the border between Palestine and Israel. “The result of
this film will make
Ajith to go up and up only,” says P Vasu.
As if Ajith would not know that the story is the same as
that of ‘Erumugam’
that fizzled out in half way!
