Vijay takes Ajith's route!
"No more love stories"
       08/25/03
With massive action hits like 'Dhil', 'Dhool' and 'Saami', Vikram had left Vijay and Ajith far, far behind and is going towards superstardom at full speed.

Like Ajith did last year, Vijay has decided something. He is not going to do any more love subjects like 'Shahjahan', 'Youth' and 'Vaseekaraa'.

The film that he is doing right now, 'Thirumalai', is a complete action film. His next film, 'Gilli', is a violent love story. His priority is action films. He is not going to d love stories like 'Kaadhalukku Mariyathai', 'Poove Unakkaga or 'Love Today' anymore.

"Not even in his dreams!" says the cine industry.

That's okay, coz, we have a bunch of new kids like Simpu and Dhanush to do such roles convincingly!

Lingusamy's hero - Ajith?        08/19/03
'Satyam' confusion continues

It's going to be a year now since 'Run' was released and we haven't seen another film from Linguswamy yet.

He had named his next film 'Sathyam'. It is a politics-based thriller, but he still hasn't been able to get a good hero.

He shifted from Ajith-Madhavan-Shrikanth and is now back to Ajith again. There are rumors that Nic Arts Chakravarthy is willing to produce the film. For how long?

Ajith’s ANJANEYAM in trouble?       07/30/03

Ajith’s new film, ANJANEYAM, is also said to have facing problems. Ever since the project started off, minor mishaps have been happening recurrently. Recently one of the crew had escaped from a fatal accident during the shooting. So, people began to talk about other incidents that had occurred during the shootings of films like BHADRAKALI and NARASIMHA. While acting in the film BHADRAKALI, its heroine died in an air crash.

NARASIMHA’s director Tirupathi Swamy had died in a car accident. Cinema personalities believe that films bearing names of Gods and Goddesses are always risky. The industry believes sentiments more than anything else.
