'Godfather' gets off in a Flying Start!

The team of the film 'God father' is moving with lightening speed. The pooja for this film was conducted only four days ago and the shooting was started immediately.

Ajith's presence is needed for the film 'Ji' to get it completed. But he jumped over to the 'God father'. The reason is that this film should beat the 'Chandramuki'

The 8th wonder is happening now. The song sequence for this movie is being filmed now. One may ask what is so special in this? The music is scored by A.R.Rehman.

Usually he would take atleast 8 to 9 months to give a tune. But the wonder is how come he had given tunes to 'Godfather' in a express speed?

There is a rumor that, he had given only his old Hindi film tunes. But the people working in the film are refusing this, saying all the tunes are new only.

Whatever the case, the 'God father' had began his journey with a bang.

Notable absentees at Thanksgiving function!

Who were the notable absentees at The Nehru indoor stadium for the Thanksgiving function organised by the Tamil film industry for Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa?
The most prominent absentee was Sarath Kumar the DMK, MP and `supreme star' of Tamil cinema. He was away in Tirunelveli for the shooting of his Hari directed Ayya. Says Sarath Kumar: "My political moorings are with the DMK and Kalignar Karunanidhi and I feel that he has done more for the film industry than anybody else".
Napolean, a DMK, MLA kept away from the function.

Ajith Kumar was another notable absentee and he is supposed to have informed Vijaykant, South India Film Artistes' Association president about his inconvenience. He had sent his good wishes and also a hefty amount as his part towards the temple 'Annadhanam' scheme.

Leading ladies Simran, Jyothika and Trisha were also missing. But Sify.com, understands that Jo is down with a twisted ankle while shooting for a dance sequence in Nagarjuna's Telugu film and is now in Mumbai. Trisha had a back problem while shooting for Tirupachi and is taking rest while no one knows anything about Simran.

Having completed his Attahasam, Ajith has now decided to finish the remaining portion of his film Ji, directed by Lingusamy which went to floors long back.

Major portion of the movie was shot at Kumbakonam. Though the movie was almost half through when Ajith went ahead with Attagasam with director Charan,forcing Lingusamy to halt Ji's progress.

Now with Attagasam completed, Ji has begun. According to Ajith, "only after completing Ji, I would go for my next film to be directed by KS Ravi Kumar".
