  Teenage
sensation Ajith, who is creating waves for his offbeat
roles, has decided to sponsor a Tamil TV channel and for

offloaded some equipment in Chennai. The official reason
given is that the equipment is for a studio that he is

Ajith's Citizen: A Movie To Talk
                        About
  Ajith
has this Kamalhassan fixation that he decides to be on
equal terms or one up with his role model. He has got
his benami producer Chakravarthy to produce yet another
dream film for him and in Citizen he is planning to out
do Sivaji's Navarathri and Kamalhassan's Indian by
doning all possible getups.According to inside sources
the film is a remake of Day of the Jackal and in the
film he dons various getups to fool the people on his
trail. He has cast Vasundhara Das as heroine instead of
Sameera Reddy who was not willing to give bulk dates and
be at the disposal of Ajith. Ajith's newly released
photos of him as a old man and also a man with drooping
mustache has got him the attention that he needed and
ironically his next film Deena is round the corner for
release but the hero has nothing much to say about it
and instead chose Citizen as the film to talk about. The
film has music by Deva, cinematography by Ravi K
Chandran , the cast includes Meena and Naghma.

                        Rowdy Ajith in Dhina
  Ajith
seems keen on swapping his romantic image with that of a
rowdy. Probably his role as a rowdy in the hit
Amarkallam is to be blamed. He is all set to play a
rowdy again in Dhina, who will do anything for
friendship and love. The heavy-on-action film portrays
the moral that those who live by the sword also die by
the sword. Suresh Gopi plays Ajith. s rowdy brother.
