P. Vasu to direct Chandramukhi in Hindi - 15 Dec 2005

Rajini’s Chandramukhi was a real hit. The income through
this film was simply amazing. It has been on screens for
243 days. This film has brought in P. Vasu a real good
name. He has finished Paramasivan with Ajith starring in
it. He is to direct Chandramukhi in Hindi too. “After
Chandramukhi, I always had Paramasivan in my mind. This
film has come out the way I visualised it. Ajith has
cooperated with me very much. I have also been offered
to do Chandramukhi’s Hindi version. The cast has not
been finalized yet,” he says.

Ajith's sustained injuries while shooting for the climax
of Godfather, the shooting for which was resumed after a
long gap on Monday.
Ajith plays three roles in the movie including a
negative character..
While a stunt sequence was shot yesterday, Ajith was
hurt and almost fell unconscious. This resulted in few
tense moments at the shooting spot. Thankfully, a team
of doctors rushed to the spot to give first-aid to the
actor, who after a couple of hours rests resumed
shooting.
Meanwhile, the actor is happy to have his Paramasivan
directed by P Vasu ready for release this Pongal.
Tirupathi: with an 80 feet Shiva idol - 14 Dec 2005

Ajit is all set to play the most memorable action role
in his film career in Tirupathi. He plays a sound
arranger who is also a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva.
According to the story, the hero worships an 80 ft Shiva
idol.
Therefore, the art director is busy erecting the idol.
The first scene with the already popular song, Tirupathi
vandha tiruppam theepori pola irukkum will be shot in
front of the idol.

Paramasivan is directed by P.Vasu and it hit the floors
on Saturday. Ajith and Laila have paired up in this film
and Vidyasagar is to score music for the movie. The
press meet for this movie took place yesterday. Ajith is
doing a totally different role this time in Paramasivan.
Like Rajini’s Chandramukhi this is to be a differently
different film. Ajith is to take up the role of a jail
prisoner in this film. The film has in it an 800 feet
bike chasing which is simply a marvelous shot and worth
watching. Ajith has shown good involvement in this film.
This film is to be a Pongal release.
