The winner among Diwali releases is...
Here's an analysis of the Diwali releases in Tamil...
Ajit’s superhit Villain is clearly the number one.
Vijay’s Bhagavathy, the number two, is way down but
above average while Vijaykanth’s Ramanaa is average.
Silambarasan’s Kathal Azhivathillai is a wash out and
Thankar Bachchan directed Solla Marantha Katha, a slow
starter.
Villain's plus points are Ajit’s dual role - one of a
mentally challenged handicap while the other Ajit has
been projected as a male sex symbol. Other highlights
are the two girls Meena and Kiran who have out beaten
each other in glamour.

Villain Mistakes
1. How exactly does a rogue like 'Pepsi' Vijayan get
appointed as the trustee of international funds for the
mentally retarded people?
2. The robbery at 'Pyramid' Natarajan's house- was that
the first robbery committed by Ajith or was it part of a
series of robberies done by him?
3. Why do the Tamilnadu Police personnel look like
clowns in the film?
